I cooked a few dinners, and there is a market within walking distance. The local areas surrounding the property are very beautiful with nature and a real Portuguese feeling. Plus, the city of Barcelos was a great surprise! I'll be coming back for sure.
I was upgraded to their art hotel because I got lost several times before finding art hotel. You need to get the key from the art hotel.
The location across the river from Barcelos gave easy access to old towne and numerous restraunants, shops, etc.

Our stay in that hostel was amazing. Everything was perfect. Since we arrived, we were checked in by super nice girl working there, which gave us a lot of tips about the city.
Hotel Bagoeira features a panoramic bar with views of Barcelos and a spacious restaurant with separate dining rooms and stone walls. The Barcelos Train Station is a 10-minute walk away. Great location, very helpful desk clerks.

Modern hotel in a great location steps from the historic center of Barcelos. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was standard. Our dinner at the traditional restaurant was excellent.
This is one of the best hostels I have been to in Portugal. The hostel is brand new and everything is so nice and clean. The bath are nice, the beds are nice with a little curtain so you get some privacy and they have a great kitchen with an amazing terrasse and view!
Room was big, modern, extra clean. Bathroom which was in the room had really big sinks and shower. Breakfast was really good, they warm up bread for the guests which is really nice. Hostel is located in the city center. I would definatelly come back there and reccoment this place to my friends and family.
